Classification Specification Sample Clauses

The Classification Specification clause defines the standards or criteria by which items, materials, or services must be categorized or identified within a contract. Typically, this clause outlines the specific classification systems or codes to be used, such as industry standards, government regulations, or internal company protocols. For example, it may require that all products supplied conform to a particular international classification code or quality grade. The core function of this clause is to ensure consistency and clarity in how goods or services are described and referenced, reducing the risk of misunderstandings or disputes over specifications.
Classification Specification. Each non-exempt classification shall be described by a classification specification as approved by the Chancellor. That specification shall include a list of primary duties and minimum qualifications, but not be limited to a job summary that defines the nature and purpose of the job class and the type of supervision received. It shall also include a list of primary duties that help define the general parameters of the classification, with the most important and significant duties being listed first. An employee shall not be precluded from assignment to a higher classification, if the specific position does not require performance of all the primary duties. The classification specification shall also include a list of minimum qualifications and conditions of employment.
Classification Specification. The City and the Union agree that the classification specifications developed as a part of this meet and confer process, and dated January 1988, accurately describe the job classes covered by this Memorandum of Understanding.
