Classroom Supervision. Aides/assistants/para-educators shall not be required to assume full responsibility for half or more of the students in the class during the absence of the teacher for more than one (1) period at a time nor for more than the equivalent of two (2) periods per day. The exception to this is class coverage of no more than 11 periods per week if one period is covering the class of a teacher absent due to the sponsoring of an extracurricular activity.
