Common use of CLERKS WORK CLAUSE Clause in Contracts

CLERKS WORK CLAUSE. This Letter of Understanding reflects the discussions between the Employer and the Union regarding Office and Sales staff performing bargaining unit work. Certain Office and Sales staff currently perform bargaining unit work as part of their overall responsibility in managing certain areas or departments within ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Valley Wholesale. It is understood that this work is performed in the absence of Department Supervisors. It is agreed by the parties that these individuals will continue to perform this bargaining unit work as long as there is no Department Supervisor appointed to the specific area or department at which point none of these individuals will be permitted to perform bargaining unit work in that respective department. The parties will share a letter that specifically outlines the details of this work that was shared at the bargaining table.
