– CLOTHING ALLOWANCE AND UNIFORM ALLOWANCE. (9)1.1 Every three (3) years the City shall provide Plant Supervisors who perform outside work with a choice of ski-doo suit, winter parka or winter jacket. Cleaning and maintenance of these items shall be the responsibility of the employee. (9)1.2 Every two (2) years the City shall provide the Technical Services Instructors and the Materials and Safety Equipment Instructor with a blazer which must be worn with an appropriate shirt and tie or blouse. (9)1.3 In lieu of all clothing items, except those specified in other sections of the Clause, the City will pay to each employee the face value of clothing vouchers in the following amounts: Four hundred and sixty-five dollars ($465.00) in the month of May in the year 2003, 2004 and 2005. This amount will be applicable from April 1, 2003 on. This rate incorporates the cost of winter jacket replacement.

(9)1.2 In lieu of all clothing items, except those specified in other sections of the Clause, the City w ill pay to each employee the f ace value of clothing vouchers in the amount of f ive hundred dollars ($500): This rat e incorporat es the cost of w int er jacket replacement .
– CLOTHING ALLOWANCE AND UNIFORM ALLOWANCE. (9)1.1 Every two (2) years the City shall provide Transit Fleet and Facilities Maintenance Supervisors who perform outside work with a choice of ski-doo suit, winter parka or fall/spring jacket worth up to a maximum of $150.00. Cleaning and maintenance of these items shall be the responsibility of the employee. If within the said two (2) year period the jacket becomes unusable, it is the sole responsibility of the employee to replace at his/her cost. (9)1.2 In lieu of all clothing items, except those specified in other sections of the Clause, the City will pay to each employee three-hundred and fifty dollars ($350) via payroll direct deposit, which is an employee taxable benefit as defined by the Canada Revenue Agency.

  • Uniform Allowance ‌ If the Employer requires an employee to supply and/or maintain specified clothing in place of a uniform which would otherwise be supplied and maintained for jobs involving the direct care of patients/residents, then a clothing/maintenance allowance of ten dollars ($10.00) per bi-weekly pay period shall be paid. This allowance does not apply to non-patient/non-resident areas.

  • Auto Allowance Executive shall be entitled to an auto allowance for one vehicle for Executive’s use up to $1,000 per month.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.
