Uniform Allowance. Where uniforms are required, the Hospital shall either supply and launder uniforms or provide a uniform allowance of per year in a lump sum payment in the first pay period of November of each year.
Uniform Allowance. If the Employer requires an employee to supply and/or maintain specified clothing in place of a uniform which would otherwise be supplied and maintained for jobs involving the direct care of patients/residents, then a clothing/maintenance allowance of ten dollars ($10.00) per bi-weekly pay period shall be paid. This allowance does not apply to non-patient/non-resident areas.
Uniform Allowance. (a) The Employer agrees to pay a uniform allowance of seven cents ($0.07) per hour, such amount not to form part of the regular hourly rate for purposes of overtime and paid holiday premiums.
(b) The uniform allowance will not be paid on each cheque but will be accumulated and the total annual accumulation will be paid by the last pay period in December of each year.
(c) When an employee leaves the employ of the Home, she shall receive her accumulated uniform allowance as part of her separation cheque.
Uniform Allowance. 11.1 A quartermaster system has been implemented for all members of the bargaining unit except crime prevention officers. The employer shall provide the required uniform items to new employees and replace issued uniform items of any employee, which reasonably require replacement. The employer shall make such determinations.
11.2 The Employer shall provide contract-cleaning service at no cost to employees for the cleaning or laundering, care and maintenance of clothing normally worn in the line of duty. Each employee shall be allowed to have twenty-five (25) clothing items cleaned or laundered per work month. Additional cleaning and maintenance for uniform items shall be as authorized by the Employer.
11.3 All uniform items and equipment issued by the Employer shall be the property of the Employer. Upon termination of employment for any reason, employees shall return any Employer issued uniforms and equipment to the Employer.
11.4 The employee shall be held accountable for all uniform items and all other equipment so assigned to the employee by the Employer. Loss, damage or destruction of items of clothing or protective devices shall be replaced by the Employer where said loss was incurred as a direct result of the performance of the employee while on the job or as a result of an occurrence not due to the employee’s wrongful act or obvious carelessness. Any uniform items or equipment assigned to an employee which require repair or replacement as a result of the employee’s wrongful act or obvious carelessness shall be replaced at the employee’s expense from a supplier designated by the Employer. Disputes by the subject employee as to the application of this section, including repayment schedules, shall be submitted within 30 days of the loss or damage to a board consisting of two members appointed by the Chief and two members appointed by the Guild President or designee. The majority decision of the board shall be final and binding on the parties. In the event the board reaches no majority decision, the Chief may implement the Chief’s decision, which shall be appealable through the grievance procedure. The employer will replace or repair damaged wrist watches up to a maximum of $50 and repair or replace prescription eyeglasses or other items at the discretion of the Chief of Police that are damaged through no fault of the employee in the performance of duty. Uniform Allowance. All full-time employees shall be paid a uniform allowance of $15.00/month All part-time employees shall be paid a uniform allowance of $12.00/month
Uniform Allowance. Employees who are required to maintain uniforms shall be paid a uniform allowance for the proper maintenance of uniforms.
a. The allowance shall be twenty dollars ($20.00) per week, computed from Monday at 12:00 a.m. through Sunday at 11:59 p.m.
b. Uniform allowance shall be payable biweekly with the employee's regular pay. There shall be no pro-rating of uniform allowance.
c. Uniform allowance shall not be paid to employees who are on leave without pay, commencing with the first full pay period of absence.
Uniform Allowance. Employees, excluding as-needed employees, who are required to wear and supply their own uniform or lab coat or ▇▇▇▇▇ in the course of their duties and who are employed on September 1 of any year covered by the Agreement, shall be paid an annual uniform allowance of $175.00, or, in the case of lab coats or smocks, $100.00 no later than the first pay period in December of each year. Uniform Allowance. 23.01 All newly hired probationary employees shall be provided a sufficient number of uniforms as determined by the Employer within thirty (30) days of his date of appointment, providing such uniforms remain the Employer's property and are returned to the Employer if the employee fails to complete his probationary period. Upon completion of the probationary period, the employee shall receive a uniform allowance and payable as set forth in Section 23.02.
23.02 Each non-probationary employee shall receive a uniform allowance in the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) each year of the Agreement, payable in equal increments in first pay period in January and first pay period in July each calendar year.
23.03 Items of equipment or clothing necessary to job performance which are damaged, lost or destroyed while on duty that belong to the employee, shall be replaced or repaired at the Employer's expense, not to exceed One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) per man, per year, and only after approval of the Chief and the Safety Director. Items of clothing or equipment paid for by the Employer through an individual's purchase order shall be exempt from this provision.
23.04 Any employee assigned motorcycle duty or to the S.E.B. unit shall be paid Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) in additional uniform allowance.
23.05 The Employer shall contribute up to Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars ($850.00) towards the cost of individual bullet proof vests providing that such individual(s) receiving such contribution shall be required to wear the vest or refund such monies to the Employer. Vests will be replaced every five (5) years or as approved by the Employer. The Union shall provide the Employer with three (3) approved vendors which employees must utilize to obtain bulletproof vests. This provision is effective upon execution of the Agreement in 2007. Employees not requesting such a contribution shall not be required to wear a vest, provided such employees sign a waiver attesting to their knowledge and rejection of such contribution and releasing the Employer from any liability resulting therefrom.

The City agrees to provide a sum of Nine Hundred and Fifty ($950) dollars in the payroll that includes September 1 as a uniform allowance to represented employees who have been continuously employed in the Sheriff's Department. An employee shall be considered "continuously employed" if he/she was on duty status cumulatively for ten (10) of the twelve (12) months immediately preceding September 1 each year of this contract. Employees who were on duty status less than ten (10) of the twelve (12) months shall be paid a pro-rata uniform allowance, calculated on a twelve (12) month basis. 1. If an employee is not on duty status or on approved leave on September 1, the employee will not receive any allowance. Any eligible employee hired on or after March 1 will receive fifty percent (50%) of the uniform allowance that year.
