Common use of Code Administrator Clause in Contracts

Code Administrator. (1) The requirements of this article shall be administered and enforced by the building development services department through the building development services director's (administrator) designated representatives (collectively referred to herein as "building officials"). The administrator is authorized to promulgate regulations and procedures consistent with this function. (2) The administrator is empowered, upon presentation of proper credentials, to enter or inspect any building structure, or premises in the city for the purposes of inspection of a sign and its structural and electrical connections to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and ordinances. Such inspections shall be carried out during business hours unless an emergency exists. The provisions of this article shall be enforceable without limitation against: a sign owner, a sign user, an operator or lessee of a sign, or the property owner on which the sign is located. Such persons may be referred to herein as "responsible persons."
