Common use of Coding and plant labelling Clause in Contracts

Coding and plant labelling.  Coding and plant labelling applies.  The Contractor provides and installs all plant labels for new/existing plant.  The Contractor provides information on coding and plant labelling for new equipment using the following Eskom standards: KKS Coding Standards 240-93576498 and Plant labelling Standard 240-71432150  The Employer reviews and accepts coding and plant labelling supplied by the contractor..  The Contractor provides equipment list to the employer for review and acceptance. Refer to Annexure E. The Contractor as minimum applies KKS to the following:  Mechanical  Electrical CONTRACT 26 ECC3 COVER PAGES  C&I  Civil It is also the responsibility of the Contractor to consistently apply the KKS codes throughout the rest of the technical documentation which shall include, but not limited to:
