Common terms & conditions. 4.1 The contractor shall furnish monthly servicing report for all the machines serviced during the said month to prepare the monthly measurement abstract, which is to be attached with monthly RA bill(s). The preventive maintenance schedule has to be prepared by the contractor in consultation with MIC/EIC. All the necessary records like a/c check list, PM record, job sheets/service reports, material IN/OUT gate pass, etc. shall be maintained by the contractor & the same records to be returned to NALCO at the time of completion of contract. The Qty. & ▇▇▇▇▇▇ showing against A.1 & A.2 of BoQ are supposed to be executed over a span of 24 equated months. The item rates include monthly servicing, replacement of spare parts (as & when required), attending breakdowns (as & when required), annual over hauling/wet servicing (once in a year), attending gas leakages, replacing defective compressors, body repairing & painting, repair / replacement of blower/PCBs/ inverter PCBs etc. as detailed at Cl.No.1.1 of Scope of Work under Job Requirement heading of Part-A.
4.2 All the materials supplied by the contractor like compressor, blower motor, selector switch, relay, capacitor, fan blade/runner etc. shall be inspected/ checked by NALCO representative for acceptance after verifying the challans /invoice/ warranty card etc. In case the material/spare is not acceptable by NALCO, party has to replace the same at no additional financial implication to NALCO.
4.3 After repair/capital maintenance of each air conditioner, the same shall be checked and tested by NALCO representative as per prescribed format before sending to respective sites/spare stock pool.
4.4 The contractor as well has to hand over all the machines in good working conditions with all the Accessories after completion/termination of the contract to the next/subsequent contractor. At the end of the contract, during handing over of the machines to the subsequent contractor, if any machine(s) is/are found defective, the prospective/new contractor shall repair the machines at the earliest and take over the rectified machines into his maintenance schedule. The expenditure cost incurred towards repair of such machines shall be paid extra (as one time basis) to the present contractor as per optional item rate cited in the present contract work order.
