COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE. Any Card (whether issued pursuant to an application or issued in renewal or replacement of any Card), Billing Statement, notice (including notification of any PIN or Security Procedure assigned to any Card or any cardmember and of any amendments to this Agreement), demand, document (including but not limited to service of Writ of Summons or other originating process relating to or by which any legal proceedings against any cardmember is commenced by us) or any other correspondence, may be sent to or served, whether in Singapore or overseas, on any cardmember by leaving it at or by posting it to or dispatching it by facsimile transmission, electronic mail or other Internet or online communication channels (which may include without limitation messages sent to the Specified Address or to user account(s) which we determine to be associated with the cardmember via postings, messaging or chat systems on social media or other online services). Cardmember agrees that any such Card, statement, notice, demand, document or any other correspondence so left at or sent or despatched to any cardmember shall be effective and deemed to have been received by that cardmember: a. if it is delivered by hand, when it was left at the Specified Address; b. if by post, on the day immediately following the date of despatch; or c. if sent by facsimile transmission, electronic mail or through the aforesaid Internet communication channels, immediately on despatch. Cardmember further agrees and accepts that service of any documents (including Writ of Summons or other originating process) in accordance with this clause, shall be deemed to be good and valid service on the cardmember, notwithstanding that such documents may not have been received by that cardmember or returned undelivered.
COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE. Any Card (whether issued pursuant to an application or issued in renewal or replacement of any Card) and all Billing Statements, notices (including notification of any PIN assigned to any Card or any cardmember and of any amendments to this Agreement) or demands from us or any document relating to or by which any legal proceedings against any cardmember is commenced by us may be sent to or served on any cardmember by leaving it at or by posting it to or dispatching it by facsimile transmission, electronic mail or through the Internet to the Specified Address of that cardmember. Any such Card, statement, notice, demand or document so leftat or sent or despatched to any cardmember shall be effective and deemed to have been received by that cardmember: (a) when it was left at the Specified Address, if left thereat; (b) on the day immediately following the date of despatch, if post; or (c) immediately on despatch if sent by facsimile transmission, electronic mail or through the Internet. Notwithstanding that it is not received by that cardmember or returned undelivered.
COMMUNICATION AND SERVICE. 6.1 Communications refer to all kinds of written communications such as notices, decisions, instructions, consents and certificates sent by any party hereto to the other party in accordance with the provisions hereof. 6.2 Communications shall be deemed to have been given, if delivered by a special person, at the date of receipt of each party, if by express mail, at the date of receipt of each party, if by fax, at the date of receipt of each party, and if by E-mail, at the time when the E-mail is successfully sent. 6.3 If any party hereto change the mailing address, contact person, E-mail and/or fax, it shall notify the other party in time. If no notice is given, the documents sent by the other party to the mailing address and contact information agreed in the Agreement shall be deemed to have been delivered.

  • Communications and Computer Lines Tenant may install, maintain, replace, remove or use any communications or computer wires and cables (collectively, the “Lines”) at the Project in or serving the Premises, provided that (i) Tenant shall obtain Landlord’s prior written consent, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed, use an experienced and qualified contractor approved in writing by Landlord, and comply with all of the other provisions of Articles 7 and 8 of this Lease, (ii) an acceptable number of spare Lines and space for additional Lines shall be maintained for existing and future occupants of the Project, as determined in Landlord’s reasonable opinion, (iii) the Lines therefor (including riser cables) shall be appropriately insulated to prevent excessive electromagnetic fields or radiation, and shall be surrounded by a protective conduit reasonably acceptable to Landlord, (iv) any new or existing Lines servicing the Premises shall comply with all applicable governmental laws and regulations, (v) as a condition to permitting the installation of new Lines, Landlord may require that Tenant remove existing Lines located in or serving the Premises and repair any damage in connection with such removal, (vi) Tenant shall remove all Lines installed by or on behalf of Tenant, and repair any damage in connection with such removal, upon the expiration or earlier termination of this Lease (and if Tenant fails to complete such removal and/or to repair any damage caused by the removal of such Lines, Landlord may do so and Tenant shall reimburse Landlord for the cost thereof, as an obligation which shall expressly survive termination of this Lease), and (vii) Tenant shall pay all costs in connection therewith, including any fees charged by Landlord for Tenant’s use of the Building’s telecommunications capacity in excess of ▇▇▇▇▇▇’s pro rata share thereof. Landlord reserves the right to require that Tenant remove any Lines located in or serving the Premises which are installed in violation of these provisions, or which are at any time in violation of any laws or represent a dangerous or potentially dangerous condition.

  • Information and communication The Parties shall support the development of modern methods of information handling, including the media, and stimulate the effective mutual exchange of information. Priority shall be given to programmes aimed at providing the general public with basic information about the Community and the Republic of Azerbaijan, including, where possible, access to databases, in full respect of intellectual property rights.

  • COMMUNICATION AND NOTICE REQUIREMENTS All communications, notices and approvals provided for hereunder shall be in writing and mailed or delivered to the Seller or the Purchaser, as the case may be, addressed as set forth in the related Sale Agreement or at such other address as either party may hereafter designate by notice to the other party. Notice given in any such communication, mailed to the Seller or the Purchaser by appropriately addressed registered mail, shall be deemed to have been given on the day following the date of such mailing.
