(v) The Deputy Minister and the CEO will meet as needed to discuss issues relating to the efficient operation of the LHIN and the provision of services by the Ministry to the LHIN. (vi) The LHIN and Ministry will adhere to the Information Exchange, Communications and Issues Management Protocol between MOHLTC Communications and Marketing Division (CMD) and the LHIN set out in Appendix 2 to this MOU.

The Deputy Minister and the CEO shall provide timely information and advice to each other concerning significant matters affecting the Agency’s management or operations.
(vi) f. The LHIN Agency and Ministry will adhere to the Information Exchange, Communications and Issues Management Protocol between MOHLTC Communications and Marketing Division (CMD) and the LHIN set out in Appendix 2 C to this MOUMOU for ongoing issues management.

Inquiries received by the Minister’s office regarding information on tax credits for processed and Issues Management Protocol between MOHLTC Communications in-process applications must be re-directed to the Agency without comment. Any response made by the Minister’s office to the inquiring party will indicate that the inquiry has been forwarded to the Agency and Marketing Division (CMD) and that the LHIN set out in Appendix 2 to this MOUMinister cannot comment.

The Deputy Minister and the LHINCEO shall provide timely information and advice to each other concerning significant matters affecting OEFC’s management or operations.

This will take place through direct communication between the Commissioner and the Minister’s responsibilitiesOffice.
(b. The Minister and the Commissioner will share information in a timely fashion concerning any issue that affects the PEO’s operations or may require the Minister’s attention. This may include, but is not limited to, issues which:
i. Have a significant impact on stakeholders;
ii) . Raise questions in the Legislature or are raised by the media or stakeholders;
iii. Have a significant financial or operational impact on the achievement and maintenance of pay equity in the province; and/or
iv. Require reports to Cabinet, TB/MBC, other Cabinet sub-committees or other Government agencies.
c. The Minister will consult with the ChairCommissioner in a timely manner, as appropriate, on broad Government policy initiatives or legislation being considered by the Government that may impact on the LHINPEO’s mandate or functions, or which otherwise will have a significant impact on the PEO.
(iii) d. The Minister and the Chair Commissioner will consult with each other on public communications communication strategies (e.g. policy or operational initiatives) and publicationspublications (e.g. discussion or research papers, reports). They will keep each other informed of the results of stakeholder and other public consultations and discussions.
(iv) e. Prior to publishing any material that relates to the mandate of the PEO, the Ministry shall consult with the PEO to ensure accuracy of the information.
f. The Minister and the Chair Commissioner will meet at least annually, or as requested by either party, to discuss issues relating to the fulfillment of the LHINPEO’s mandate, management and operations.
(v) g. The Deputy Minister and the CEO Commissioner will meet as needed requested by either party, to discuss issues relating to the delivery of the PEO’s mandate, the efficient operation of the LHIN PEO, and the provision of services by the Ministry to the LHINPEO. The Deputy Minister and the Director shall provide timely information and advice to each other concerning significant matters affecting the PEO’s management or operations.
(vi) h. The LHIN PEO and Ministry will adhere to the Information Exchange, Public Communications and Issues Management Protocol between MOHLTC Communications and Marketing Division (CMD) and the LHIN set out in Appendix 2 3 to this MOUMOU for ongoing issues management.
