In addition to the protocol, thereforeinquiries received by the Minister's office regarding investigations, agree that:
a. The chair cases or proceedings before the Commission or the courts are re-directed to the Commission. Any response made by the Minister's office to the inquiring party will ensure indicate that the minister is inquiry has been forwarded to the Commission and that the Minister cannot interfere with an enforcement investigation or proceeding.

Any response made by the minister's office to the inquiring party will indicate that the inquiry has been forwarded to the commission and that the minister cannot comment on regulatory proceedings.

The NEC director may meet on a regular basis with the responsible MNR director or manager to ensure coordination of program delivery, media responsesfacilitate the resolution of issues or make recommendations on any matters identified by the minister, deputy minister or chair. Frequency of regular meetings will be determined upon agreement of the NEC director and news releasesresponsible MNR director or manager and ad hoc meetings may be scheduled at the request of either party.

d. The minister Minister and the chair Chair will meet at least semi-annually twice yearly, or as requested by either party, to discuss issues relating to the fulfillment of the agency’s mandate, management and operations.
e. The deputy minister Deputy Minister and the Chair will meet on a quarterly basis or as the Deputy Minister is directed by the Minister.
f. The Deputy Minister and the CEO will meet at least monthlyevery two months, or as requested by either partyof them, to discuss issues relating to the delivery of the boardAgriCorp’s mandate and mandate, the efficient operation of the agency agency, and the provision of any services by the ministry Ministry to the agency. The agency Ministry and ministry Agency shall designate positions in the Operational Agreement that are responsible for sharing and coordinating information between the Ministry and the Agency on matters that affect the Agency and the Ministry respectively as well as other duties that may be assigned to them in the Operational Agreement.
j. The governance framework developed collaboratively between the Ministry and the Agency and predicated upon a transparent “no surprise” approach to communications, planning and relationship management will adhere be included in the Operational Agreement. This includes the committee structure and terms of reference.
k. The Chair, CEO, Deputy Minister, or designate by the Deputy Minister, may work together, as appropriate, to ensure full and open collaboration on the Public Communications Protocol set out in Appendix 3 to this MOU regarding their responsibilities relating to development of materials for briefings, or appropriate escalation of issues managementto, engagement the Board and consultation, media responses, and news releasesthe Minister.
