COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAM. 32.1 It is agreed that for the purposes of staffing, the Community Education Program is considered to be a secondary school. 32.2 All Teachers teaching in the Community Education Program within the regular school day and within the regular school year, are entitled to and subject to all the terms and conditions, rights, obligations and privileges specified in this Collective Agreement. 32.3 For the purposes of this Article, a Teacher is defined as a certificated Teacher teaching Secondary School credits within the regular school day and within the regular school year. 32.4 A Teacher within the Community Education Program shall be paid a grid salary based on the rate of salary for his/her category, to include appropriate allowances/adjustments for teaching and related experience, post-graduate degrees, employee benefits, and cost of living allowances as provided in this agreement. 32.5 For the purposes of interpreting this Article only, a full-time teaching assignment within the Community Education Program shall be deemed to consist of 6.5 credit and/or credit equivalent courses plus 0.17 TAP and/or remedial courses. 32.6 Teachers within the Community Education Program shall be placed on the Seniority List, in accordance with subject certification and the procedures specified in Article 13.0 of the Collective Agreement.
COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAM. DEVELOPMENT AND PEER PROFESSIONAL GROWTH 1. Community Education has traditionally followed a team model in order to effectively meet student needs. In addition to ongoing team decision making, each program conducts an annual program evaluation and a peer professional growth plan (which may include coaching and mentoring). During the annual program evaluation process, staffing needs, curriculum, program delivery methods and peer professional growth and development plans are reviewed and possibly adjusted to meet changing student requirements.

With the support of the Promotoras, ▇▇▇▇ will facilitate outreach presentations tailored to the Latino community with the objective of having community members come to understand the dynamics of domestic violence. b. With the support of the FilAm taskforce, ▇▇▇▇ will facilitate outreach presentations tailored to the Filipino American cultural community with the objective of having community members come to understand the dynamics of domestic violence. c. CORA will provide outreach presentations to Tongans, Samoans or other Pacific Islanders so they come to understand the dynamics of domestic violence. d. With the help of Promotoras and volunteers, ▇▇▇▇ will facilitate community outreach/education presentations to community members so they come to understand the dynamics of domestic violence. Includes “all other” community members (non-Latinos, FilAmericans, and Pacific Islanders). a. COUNTY OF SAN MATEO FAMILY SELF-SUFFICIENCY TEAMS (FSSTs)

In consideration of the services provided by Contractor in Exhibit “A”, County shall pay Contractor based on the following fee schedule:
COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAM. Contractor will provide a community education program that contains a minimum of one hundred and twenty (120) hours per year for each ambulance operating area, as defined by Attachment 1, Operating Areas. Contractor will prepare an annual Community Education Plan with specific goals and objectives to meet or exceed minimum acceptable levels set by the EMS Administrative Group for that operating area. The Plan will be submitted to REMSA and the EMS Administrative Group for review and approval prior to implementation and shall include but not be limited to: 8.2.1 Community CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Program

Related to COMMUNITY EDUCATION PROGRAM

  • Union Education If the local union indicates to the Hospital that its members have approved a special assessment for union education in accordance with the CUPE constitution and local union by laws, the Hospital agrees to deduct this assessment. Such assessment will be paid on a quarterly basis into a trust fund established and administered by OCHU/CUPE for this purpose.

  • Special Education Teachers Elementary/Secondary Special Education Coordinators shall be compensated for an extended work day in the amount of four thousand dollars ($4,000).

  • HOME EDUCATION 1. Educational services that may be required for home education students as defined in School Act, Part II, Div. 4, Sec. 12 & 13 and School Act Regulations, Sec. (3), shall be provided by bargaining unit members. 2. Classroom teachers shall not, however, be required to prepare educational resource materials or exams, or to assess or prepare reports on home education students, unless such duties are assigned as part of that teacher's regular assignment.
