Common use of Compassionate Leave Clause in Contracts

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) An employee is entitled to two (2) days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's immediate family, or a member of the employee’s household: (a) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

(2) For the purpose of this subclause “Employee’s immediate family” means any of the following:

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) An In accordance with the Workplace Relations Act 1996, an employee is entitled to a period of two (2) days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s household: (a) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or his/ her life; or (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or his/ her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1a) An employee is Full Time and Part Time employees are entitled to two (2) days a period of 2 days’ paid compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s household: (ai) contracts or develops a personal serious illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or; (bii) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1a) An employee is entitled to two (2) 2 days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, or a member of the employee’s household: (ai) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (bii) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) 45.1 An employee Employee is entitled to two (2) days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's Employee’s immediate family, or a member of the employeeEmployee’s household: (a) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or;

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1a) An employee is entitled to two (2) 2 days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's employee‘s immediate family, or a member of the employee’s employee‘s household: (ai) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (bii) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1a) An employee is entitled to a period of up to two (2) days of compassionate leave for paid leave, either as separate or consecutive days, from rostered ordinary hours on each occasion (a permissible occasion) when of the death of a member of their immediate family or household or in the employee's immediate family, or event of a member of the employee’s household: (a) contracts their immediate family or develops a personal household developing an illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (b) sustains a personal sustaining an injury that poses a serious threat to his their life. b) Immediate family includes a spouse, parent, child, grandparent, grandchild or her life; orsibling of the employee or their spouse.

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1a) An employee is employee, other than a Casual employee, shall be entitled to up to two (2) days of days’ compassionate leave for without deduction of pay on each permissible occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s household:household (as defined in clause 6.4(c)): (ai) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (bii) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) An employee is 19.1 Employees are entitled to two (2) 2 days of compassionate leave for each per occasion (a permissible occasionin accordance with the NES, as outlined in this clause) when where a member of the employee's their immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s household: (a) contracts or develops a personal illness illness, or sustains a personal injury, that poses a serious threat to his or his/her life; or (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1i) An employee is (other than a casual employee) shall be entitled to up to two (2) days of compassionate leave without deduction of pay for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s household: (a) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or; (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ 10.3.1 Employees (1other than casual employees) An employee is are entitled to two (2) a period of 2 days of paid compassionate leave for each occasion (“a permissible occasion”) when a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, family (as defined in clause 10.2.8) or a member of the employee’s household: (a) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her lifelife for the purposes of spending time with a person; or, (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or,

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) 26.1 An employee is entitled to up to two (2) days of compassionate leave per permissible occasion for each occasion the purpose of spending time with a person who: (a permissible occasiona) when Is a member of the employee's immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s 's household: (a) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or, and (b) sustains Has a personal illness or injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; , or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) 23.1 An employee is entitled to two (2) take up to 2 days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s household: (a) contracts Contracts or develops a personal injury or illness that poses a serious threat to his or her their life; or (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) An employee is 11.1 The Employee shall also be entitled to use up to two (2) days of compassionate leave for without loss of pay on each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's Employee’s immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s household: (a) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or; (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌The Employees are entitled to 2 days paid compassionate leave: (1a) An employee in order to spend time with a person who: (i) is entitled to two (2) days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s household:; and (aii) contracts or develops has a personal illness illness, or injury, that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) An employee is entitled to two (2) 2 paid days of compassionate leave for Compassionate Leave (taken as a single period or 2 separate periods of 1 day each occasion (a or any separate agreed period) on each permissible occasion) , when a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s household: (a) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or; (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1a) An A permanent employee is entitled to two paid compassionate leave of up to three (23) days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, or a member of the employee’s household: (ai) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (bii) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) 220. An employee is entitled to two (2) a period of 2 days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when if a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s household: (a) contracts or develops : ⮚ Contracts a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (b) sustains or ⮚ Sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; oror ⮚ Dies; and The employee provides medical evidence, or a copy of a death certificate or funeral notice as appropriate.

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) 30.1 An employee is entitled to two (2) 2 days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's immediate family, or a member of the employee’s householdif: (a) a member of their immediate family or household dies, or contracts or develops a personal life-threatening illness that poses a serious threat to his or her lifeinjury; or (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his baby in their immediate family or her lifehousehold is stillborn; or (c) the employee has a miscarriage; or (d) the employee’s current spouse or defacto partner has a miscarriage.

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) 35.1 An employee other than a casual is entitled to take up to two (2) days of paid compassionate leave per occasion for each occasion (the purposes of spending time with a permissible occasion) when person who is a member of the employee's immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s householdhousehold who: (a) contracts Contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (b) sustains Sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) 35.1 An employee Employee is entitled to two (2) days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's Employee’s immediate family, or a member of the employeeEmployee’s household: (a) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) 23.1 An employee is entitled to take up to two (2) days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s household: (a) contracts Contracts or develops a personal injury or illness that poses a serious threat to his or her their life; or (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) An employee In accordance with and subject to the requirements of the Workplace Relations Act 1996, a full-time Employee is entitled to two (2) days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's Employee’s immediate family, family or a member of the employeeEmployee’s household: (a) contracts Contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or his/her life; or (b) sustains Sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or his/her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) 22.3.1 An employee Employee is entitled to two (2) days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's Employee’s immediate family, or a member of the employeeEmployee’s household: (a) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) 37.1 An employee is entitled to two (2) 3 ordinary days of compassionate leave on notice for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, or a member of the employee’s immediate household: (a) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) 25.1 An employee is entitled to two (2) 3 days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, or a member of the employee’s household: (ai) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (bii) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1a) An employee Employee is entitled to up to two (2) days of compassionate leave paid Compassionate Leave for each permissible occasion (a permissible occasion) when that a member of the employee's their immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s household: (a) i. contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (b) ii. sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1i) An employee is Employees are entitled to two (2) 2 days of compassionate leave for each per occasion (a permissible occasion) when in accordance with the National Employment Standard where a member of the employee's their immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s household: (a) contracts i. Contracts or develops a personal illness illness, or sustains a personal injury, that poses a serious threat to his or his/her life; or (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1a) An employee is entitled to two (2) 4 days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, or a member of the employee’s household: (ai) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (bii) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) An employee In accordance with and subject to the requirements of the Workplace Relations Act 1996, a fulltime Employee is entitled to two (2) days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's Employees immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s Employees household:; (a) contracts Contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or his/her life; or (b) sustains Sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or his/ her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) 33.1 An employee is entitled to two (2) days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, or a member of the employee’s household: (a) 33.1.1 contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (b) 33.1.2 sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1i) An employee is entitled to two (2) a period of 2 days of compassionate leave without loss of pay for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s household: (a) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1i) An employee is entitled to two (2) 2 days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, or a member of the employee’s household: (a) contracts 1. Contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (b) sustains 2. Sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1a) An employee Employee is entitled to two (2) days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's Employee’s immediate family, or a member of the employeeEmployee’s household: (ai) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (bii) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1a) An employee is Employees are entitled to two (2) 2 days of paid compassionate leave for each per occasion (a permissible occasion) when in accordance with the following: i. For spending time with a member of the employee's their immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s household: (a) household who contracts or develops a personal illness illness, or sustains a personal injury, that poses a serious threat to his or his/her life; or. The leave can be taken at any time during while the injury or illness persists: (b) sustains ii. After the death of a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his member of their immediate family or her life; orhousehold. For the purpose of this clause:

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1a) An employee is other than a casual employee, shall, be entitled to two (2) days up to three days’ of compassionate leave for with pay on each permissible occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s household:household (as defined by the Act): (ai) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (bii) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌(a) All eligible full-time and part-time Employees are entitled to compassionate leave. (1b) An employee is entitled to two (2) 3 days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when when: (i) a member of the employee's ’s immediate family, or a member of the employee’s household: (a) 1. contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (b) 2. sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1a) An employee Employee is entitled to two (2) 4 days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's Employee’s immediate family, or a member of the employeeEmployee’s household: (ai) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her their life; or (bii) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her their life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1) An employee is 18.1 Employees are entitled to two (2) 2 days of compassionate leave for each per occasion (a permissible occasionin accordance with the NES, as outlined in this clause) when where a member of the employee's their immediate family, family or a member of the employee’s household: (a) contracts or develops a personal illness illness, or sustains a personal injury, that poses a serious threat to his or his/her life; or (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or

Compassionate Leave. ‌ (1i) An employee Employee is entitled to two (2) 2 days of compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when a member of the employee's Employee’s immediate family, or a member of the employeeEmployee’s household: (a) contracts or develops a personal illness that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or (b) sustains a personal injury that poses a serious threat to his or her life; or
