Compatibility Interoperability Clause Samples

Compatibility Interoperability. The NOMAD platform is designed and developed under the principle of a loosely coupled architecture, taking into consideration international standards on the data transformation and information exchange, as well as the potential interoperability with third party systems. The individual components communicate with each other through well-defined APIs over REST Web Services, while JSON data exchange schema has been adopted. Although currently the need for interfacing with external systems is not necessary, the NOMAD platform can automatically crawl data from various different sources, including social media and news and blogs sites. On the presentation layer, the Visualisation Module is delivered as a service and is currently integrated as a Liferay portlet, which makes it being independent from the specific technology used for the presentation of the results from the NOMAD analysis. Furthermore, the Model Authoring ▇▇▇▇▇▇ uses JSF technologies and is currently developed both through two different Mind mapping tools.
