Completion of Emergency Work. (a) Except as provided in this sub-clause an Employee shall not work or be required to work in the rain. (b) Workers shall not be required to commence work in situations of inclement weather (except in an emergency situation). (c) All work in inclement weather can only be done with prior approval from the crane operations manager of the Company, or by the Employee receiving consent for the additional payment from the client (or a person authorised by the client) by way of the client signing authorisation for the additional cost on the work docket. (d) Where emergency work is being undertaken, Employees will be paid in addition to the rate of pay applicable at the time affected by inclement weather, an amount equal to the ordinary time rate (as defined in clause 2) for a minimum of two (2) hours. (e) If an Employee’s clothes become wet as a result of working in the rain during working hours the Employee shall, unless the Employee has a change of dry working clothes available, be allowed to go home without loss of pay. (f) It is agreed that the Employees must make themselves available if needed for emergency work or jobs in areas that may not be inclement in ordinary working hours. (g) When Employees in the crane yard are not required for a specific task and the inclement weather is not likely to ▇▇▇▇▇, consultation between the Employer and the Employees or their representative, must take place to consider allowing the Employees to leave the premises without loss of pay. Agreement may be reached to either roster a skeleton crew to stay back or require Employees to return to work during normal working hours if needed for jobs in locations not affected by inclement weather or emergency work. In the case of a return to work, there will be no additional payment of Fares and Travel Allowance (except overtime).
Completion of Emergency Work. 9.3.5.1 Except as provided in this subclause an employee will not work or be required to work in the rain. 9.3.5.2 Where emergency work has been commenced prior to the commencement of a period of inclement weather employees may be required to complete such concrete pour to a practical stage and for such work will be paid at the rate of double time calculated to the next half hour, and in the case of wet weather will be provided with adequate wet weather gear. 9.3.5.3 If an employee’s clothes become wet as a result of working in the rain during emergency work the employee will, unless the employee has a change of dry working clothes available, be allowed to go home without loss of pay.

(c) Where a concrete pour has been commenced prior to the commencement of a period of inclement weather Employees may be required to complete such concrete pour to a practical stage and in the case of wet weather will be provided with adequate wet weather gear. (d) If an Employee’s clothes become wet as a result of working in the rain during a concrete pour the Employee will, unless the Employee has a change of dry working clothes available, be allowed to go home and will be paid as though they had remained at work. (e) The provisions of clauses 1.8(c) and 1.8

Related to Completion of Emergency Work

  • Emergency Work Employees who are required to report for emergency work on non- workdays, or outside of their regular hours of work on a scheduled workday or on holidays which they are entitled to have off, shall be paid overtime compensation for the actual work time and for travel time in connection therewith, but such travel time shall not exceed one-half (1/2) hour.

  • Completion of Concrete Pours and Emergency Work (a) Except as provided in this sub-clause an Employee shall nor work or be required to work in the rain. (b) Employees shall not be required to start a concrete pour in Inclement Weather. (c) Where a concrete pour has been commenced prior to the commencement of a period of Inclement Weather Employees may be required to complete such concrete pour to a practical stage and for such work shall be paid at the rate of double time calculated to the next hour, and in the case of wet weather shall be provided with adequate wet weather gear. (d) If an Employee’s clothes become wet as a result of working in the rain during a concrete pour the Employee shall, unless the Employee has a change of dry working clothes available, be allowed to go home without loss of pay. (e) The provisions of clauses 32.7(c) and 32.7(d) hereof shall also apply in the case of emergency work where the Employees concerned and their delegates agree that the work is of an emergency nature and can start and/or proceed.

  • Completion of Services (a) The Customer must: (i) notify Deswik in writing as soon as the Customer becomes aware of any defects in the Services; or (ii) provide Deswik with an email confirming successful completion of any Services Deswik advises the Customer have been completed. (b) If the Customer does not notify Deswik of any defects under clause 5.4(a)(i) or provide Deswik with an email confirming successful completion of the Services within 14 days of Deswik notifying the Customer that the relevant Services are complete, the Customer is deemed to have accepted the Services. (c) If the Customer notifies Deswik of any defects under clause 5.4(a)(i), Deswik will, as soon as possible investigate and (where applicable) undertake rectification of the defects. Upon completion of any defect rectification the Customer must promptly provide an email notification of the successful completion of the services, unless further defects exist. In this case, the Customer is further required to notify Deswik of such defects.

  • CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT The Supplier shall at all times during the Framework Period comply with its obligations to continually improve the Goods and/or Services and the manner in which it provides the Goods and/or Services as set out in Framework Schedule 12 (Continuous Improvement and Benchmarking).

  • Emergency Room Services This plan covers services received in a hospital emergency room when needed to stabilize or initiate treatment in an emergency. If your condition needs immediate or urgent, but non-emergency care, contact your PCP or use an urgent care center. This plan covers bandages, crutches, canes, collars, and other supplies incidental to your treatment in the emergency room as part of our allowance for the emergency room services. Additional services provided in the emergency room such as radiology or physician consultations are covered separately from emergency room services and may require additional copayments. The amount you pay is based on the type of service being rendered. Follow-up care services, such as suture removal, fracture care or wound care, received at the emergency room will require an additional emergency room copayment. Follow- up care services can be obtained from your primary care provider or a specialist. See Dental Services in Section 3 for information regarding emergency dental care services.
