Completion of one Year of Service Clause Samples

The 'Completion of one Year of Service' clause defines the requirement that an employee must work for a full year to become eligible for certain benefits or rights under an agreement. Typically, this clause specifies that the employee's service is calculated from their official start date and may be used to determine eligibility for bonuses, leave entitlements, or participation in retirement plans. Its core function is to set a clear threshold for when employees qualify for specific employment benefits, ensuring both parties understand when such rights accrue and helping to manage expectations regarding benefit eligibility.
