Examples of Break in Service in a sentence
The Employer must elect in its Adoption Agreement whether a Participant will incur a suspension of Years of Service after incurring a one year Break in Service.
If the Employer elects a 2 years of service condition for eligibility purposes under Adoption Agreement Section 2.01, the Plan treats an Employee who incurs a one year Break in Service and who has never become a Participant as a new Employee on the date he first performs an Hour of Service for the Employer after the Break in Service.
The Participant incurs a Forfeiture Break in Service when he incurs 5 consecutive Breaks in Service.
The initial computation period under this Section 2.03(B) is the 12 consecutive month period measured from the date the Participant first receives credit for an Hour of Service following the one year Break in Service period.
If this rule applies under the Employer's Plan, the Plan disregards a Participant's Years of Service (as defined in Section 2.02) earned prior to a Break in Service until the Participant completes another Year of Service and the Plan suspends the Participant's participation in the Plan.
