Computation of Days Clause Samples
The 'Computation of Days' clause defines how time periods are calculated within the contract. It typically specifies whether days are counted as calendar days or business days, and may clarify how to handle weekends, holidays, or the inclusion or exclusion of the first and last day in a period. For example, if a notice must be given within 10 days, this clause determines exactly how those days are counted. Its core function is to ensure consistency and prevent disputes by providing a clear method for calculating deadlines and timeframes.
