Concept Development Sample Clauses
Concept Development. Assist private applicants and the Parties with housing concepts for proposed master planned communities, neighborhoods, individual home site and infill development for missed use residential/commercial and/or industrial areas.
Concept Development. The CONSULTANT may be requested to prepare Concept Development plans utilizing planning studies or other information available to support further analysis. Concept Development should follow guidance provided by the DEPARTMENT. The concept development process should include developing alternatives, comparing and evaluating alternatives, stakeholder buy-in, alternative selection, developing final concept plans and development of implementation strategy for programming subsequent phase. CONSULTANT maybe requested to propose remedial measures and projects.
Concept Development. The goal of Phase 1 is to provide LipoScience with a clear system design concept for moving into detailed design activities. Phase 1 tasks and durations are shown in the attached ▇▇▇▇▇ chart. It is envisioned that a joint team kick-off meeting will occur in early April. This will include LipoScience, [***], [***], and the Varian. The program plan will be revised as needed and roles and responsibilities will be clarified. Initial results of LipoScience’s MRD interviews will be reviewed, as well as updates to the Top Level Requirements Document. Program priorities and metrics for design trade-off analyses will be established. Team members will then accompany LipoScience staff to meet with selected clinical partners and/or major hospitals to better understand the clinical drivers for the Magnus System. This “immersion” will give the design team first-hand insight into the needs of the clinical operators and administrators. A meeting is also proposed at the Varian to understand its existing technology, specific development timeframes, and design challenges and constraints. A review will also be made of its existing software code and procedures. System concepts will be generated by the joint team, as well as through internal [***] brainstorming sessions. Industrial design sketches of key concepts will be created, focusing on user interaction and overall layout of the various subsystems. A brief theory of operation will be created. The overall system architecture—both hardware and software domains—will be developed and initial subsystem partitioning will be defined. An updated Functional Requirements and draft Hazard Analysis will be created. Based on the initial concepts, preliminary mechanical design layouts will be generated to evaluate volumetric sizing and subsystem placement. Overall power distribution and subsystem control layout will be drafted. Finally, based on initial system assumptions, a preliminary unit manufacturing cost estimate will be generated. Software, development will be an integral part of the overall system design. Battelle will coordinate software activities at LipoScience and the Varian. A Software Quality Assurance Plan (SQAP) will be developed in Phase 1 to establish ground rules for all software development. As LipoScience and the Varian currently do not have procedures for developing software under the FDA’s QSR, [***] will help educate the team members and define procedures as necessary. Software development tools, version tracking...
Concept Development. 2.2.1 Consult with OWNER to determine OWNER'S requirements for the Project and available data.
2.2.2 Provide special analyses of OWNER'S needs, planning surveys, site evaluations, and comparative studies of prospective sites and solutions.
2.2.3 Provide general economic analyses of OWNER'S requirements applicable to various alternatives.
2.2.4 Prepare a Concept Development Report summarizing studies performed in accomplishing Paragraphs 2.2.2 and 2.2.3, including findings and recommendations for the Project, and furnish review copies of the Report to OWNER.
Concept Development. Teleconference (Twenty 1-hour meetings). Two (2) Project Managers, one (1) Project Engineer. • One-Day Site Visit (Two 10-hour trips). Two (2)
Concept Development. ENGINEER shall refine the concept for the proposed wastewater collection system as presented in the WMPs for the Proposed Sewer Service Areas to establish a final recommendation. The initially proposed collection system for the Proposed Sewer Service Areas consists of approximately 72,000 feet of gravity sewer, 46,300 feet of force main, 553 residential pumps and 9 municipal pump stations. Locating sewers in off- street areas versus in-street will be considered, where feasible, to minimize pavement restoration costs. The estimated pipe lengths are based on previously completed WMPs and will be refined as part of this Task A3. The intent of the Task A Planning activities is to further refine the concepts developed in the respective WMPs, develop construction and operations costs, and to select an alternative that meets the OWNER’s benefit assessment criteria of less than 10% of the grand list value of the properties served by the sewer system. Three workshops will be held with the OWNER and project stakeholders to establish consensus on the selected plan, successful referendum, and proceeding with Task B Final Design. Specific tasks will include:
A.3.1 WASTEWATER COLLECTION SYSTEM
1. Confirm wastewater flow estimates for the Proposed Sewer Service Areas, if authorized, that will eventually discharge to the existing collection system in the future. This will include confirming water use values and wastewater projections in available reports for existing and build-out conditions and reviewing with OWNER any modifications to the buildout condition based on recent/ongoing zoning changes and market analyses for those areas.
2. Consistent with TR-16, an estimated flow component for infiltration and inflow (I/I) of 500 gpd per inch diameter per mile will be included in the total flow estimated for thesewer service areas.
3. Review the capacity of downstream portions of the existing collection system that will receive flow from the proposed collection systems. Recommendations for upgrade of existing sewers and pump stations will be included in the basis of design report and cost estimates used to evaluate the benefit assessment.
4. Confirm conceptual pipe routes in the respective sewer service areas for gravity sewers, pressure sewers and force mains based on topographic mapping obtained in Task A.
1. This includes the preparation and/or refinement of conceptual pipe routes for each the Proposed Sewer Service Areas for consideration in the final project.
5. Perform...
