Sometimes getting the answers to questions or concerns can help to allay the fears and solve conflicts that may be clouding the student’s ability to make the best-informed decision regarding a commitment to the Upward Bound summer component. It is very important to remember that if an Upward Bound student decides to opt-out and not participate in the 2024 summer component, that student will be expected to attend all future summer components during their membership. Students who would be attending for the first time or as a bridge student may not opt-out. Please take a few minutes to fill out the following summer intentions slip and return it to the Upward Bound office by April 20, 2024 so we can finalize the number of students to plan for on a weekly basis during the upcoming summer component.
