Concurrent with paid leave. The City requires an employee to utilize all accrued and unused sick leave concurrently with the use of family care and medical leave (FMLA and CFRA) which may be coordinated with State Disability Insurance (“SDI”). Employees may elect to use accrued and unused vacation concurrently, and may freeze up to 80 hours of vacation during a medical leave of absence in accordance with 12.2.1.3 above.
