Conductors. Item 44(a) Furnish and install #12 AWG XLP Copper conductor cable (600V). Item 44(b) Furnish and install #6 AWG XLP Copper conductor cable (600V). Item 44(c) Furnish and install #2 AWG XLP Copper conductor cable (600V). Item 44(c)1 Furnish and install #6 AWG XLP Aluminum conductor cable (600V). Item 44(d) Furnish and install #2/0 XLP Copper conductor cable (600V). Item 44(d)1 Furnish and install #4/0 XLP Copper conductor cable (600V). Item 44(e) Furnish and install #2 AWG EPR Copper conductor cable (15KV). Item 44(f) Furnish and install #2/0 AWG EPR Copper conductor cable (15kV). Item 44(g) Furnish and install 500 MCM EPR Copper conductor cable (15KV). Item 44(h) Furnish and install #4/0 AWG EPR Copper conductor cable (15kV).The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, necessary to install cross linked polyethylene covered or EPR high voltage cable in conduit. All conductors run shall be continuous from box to box. The cable and method of installation shall be in accordance with these specifications. The work shall include but not be limited to the following: a. Cleaning out of the conduit by the removal from there of all water, dirt, debris and foreign material. b. Making of all splices or connections at lampposts, cutouts, boxes, etc., where the new cables are installed or terminated. High voltage splices to be paid for under appropriate item. c. Performing all applicable tests including material, dielectric and high potential proof tests. Installing “Copper Keeper” or equivalent. d. Payment for the installation of new conductors shall be on a conductor foot basis and shall include all splices connections and terminations and all applicable tests.
