Common use of Consultant Not Agent Clause in Contracts

Consultant Not Agent. Except as City may specify in writing, Consultant shall have no authority, express or implied, to act on behalf of City in any capacity whatsoever as an agent. Consultant shall have no authority, express or implied, pursuant to this Agreement to bind City to any obligation whatsoever. C-4. Time and Personnel Devoted to Work. Consultant shall devote such time and personnel (including subconsultants) to the performance of services pursuant to this Agreement as may be reasonably necessary for satisfactory performance of Consultant's obligations pursuant to this Agreement in accordance with the completion schedule for said work, if any, which is a part of this Agreement.
