Common use of Continuity of Service Clause in Contracts

Continuity of Service. It shall be the right of all Subscribers to receive Cable Service insofar as their financial and other obligations to the Licensee are honored; provided, however, that the Licensee shall have no obligation to provide Cable Service to any Person who or which the Licensee has a reasonable basis to believe is utilizing an unauthorized Converter and/or is otherwise obtaining any Cable Service without required payment thereof. The Licensee shall ensure that all Subscribers receive continuous, uninterrupted Cable Service, except for necessary Service interruptions or as a result of Cable System or equipment failures. When necessary, non-routine Service interruptions can be anticipated, the Licensee shall notify Subscribers of such interruption(s) in advance.
