Emergency Use Clause Samples

The Emergency Use clause permits certain actions or deviations from standard procedures in response to urgent or unforeseen situations. Typically, this clause allows parties to bypass normal requirements or restrictions when immediate action is necessary to protect safety, prevent harm, or address critical operational needs. For example, it may enable the use of alternative suppliers or expedited decision-making during a natural disaster or other crisis. Its core function is to provide flexibility and ensure continuity or protection during emergencies, thereby addressing the need for rapid response when standard protocols are insufficient.
