Contract Cancellations Sample Clauses

The Contract Cancellations clause defines the conditions and procedures under which either party may terminate the agreement before its scheduled completion. Typically, this clause outlines the required notice period, acceptable reasons for cancellation—such as breach of contract or force majeure—and any associated penalties or fees. Its core practical function is to provide a clear, fair process for ending the contractual relationship, thereby reducing uncertainty and potential disputes if one party needs to withdraw from the agreement.
