Contract Officer. The Owner shall designate a Contract Officer authorized to act on its behalf with respect to the design and construction of the Project. The Contract Officer shall examine documents submitted by the Design Professional and shall promptly render decisions pertaining to those documents so as to avoid unreasonably delaying the progress of the Design Professional’s work.
