Contract Rate Clause Samples

The Contract Rate clause defines the specific interest rate or payment rate that applies to amounts due under the contract. This rate is typically used to calculate interest on late payments, outstanding balances, or other financial obligations between the parties. By clearly establishing the applicable rate, the clause ensures both parties understand the cost of delayed payments and helps prevent disputes over interest calculations.
