Common use of Contract Supremacy Clause in Contracts

Contract Supremacy. It is understood and agreed that this Agreement supersedes any rules, regulations or practices of the City which are contrary to or inconsistent with the terms and provisions contained herein. However, where not negated or modified by the provisions herein contained, the Personnel Rules, Regulations and Personnel Policies of the City and its departments shall apply.

The City will make every effort to notify the Association President and Vice-President in writing of any changes, additions or revisions of the Civil Service Ordinances, or any administrative or personnel rules, regulations or procedures prior to distribution to the employees.
