Common use of Contract Supremacy Clause in Contracts

Contract Supremacy. The terms of this Contract between the Employer and the DTU supplement and are in addition to the Civil Service Rules. Nothing in this Contract shall take away any rights or benefits to which an employee, or the Employer, is entitled under the Civil Service Rules. When a provision of this Contract has intentionally been negotiated which is different from a Civil Service Rule (e.g., -Article IV, H. Seniority), the Contract provision shall prevail.
