For projects that include construction work of $25,000 or more, prevailing wage rules apply per; Minn. Stat. §§177.41 through 177.44 consequently, the bid request must state the project is subject to prevailing wage. These rules require that the wages of laborers and workers should be comparable to wages paid for similar work in the community as a whole. A prevailing wage form should accompany these bid submittals. The Materials Management Division (MMD) operates a program for Targeted Group, Economically Disadvantaged, and Veteran-Owned small businesses. Grantees are strongly encouraged to contract with certified Targeted Group, Economically Disadvantaged, and Veteran-Owned small businesses.

Contracting and bidding. All contracts for providing the services making up the Shared Costs shall be jointly entered into between the Districts and the service provider on a form mutually agreed to by the Districts. Any bidding for capital projects for the Community Amenities shall be jointly bid by the Districts and any such award shall be subject to approval by both District 1 and District 2.

  • JOB BIDDING Section 1. All job vacancies will be posted as follows: a.) The position will be posted on Kaleidascope for seven (7) calendar days. b.) The posting shall include the position (job title), posting dates, status, hours per pay period, shift, starting and ending times, pay grade and the qualifications for the position as defined in the job description for the position. A copy of all job postings will be sent to the Union. c.) Employees may not be accepted for posted positions until they have completed six (6) months of employment. In addition, an employee who has transferred to a position must remain in that position for six (6) months before applying for another posted position. Except that an employee may apply for a posted position which is at a higher pay grade without regard to the six (6) month limit. This paragraph shall not apply to intra cost center shift change or intra cost center status changes. Section 2. Posted positions shall be filled by the most senior qualified applicant from within the bargaining unit. If the position cannot be filled from within the bargaining unit, the Employer may fill the position from any source available to the Employer, provided the candidate meets all of the qualifications for hiring into that position. In all instances, the appropriate manager is responsible for the interview and selection of applicants within fourteen (14) days of the end of the posting. Section 3. A qualified applicant shall be defined as an employee who possesses the entry level qualifications in the job description and is able to do the work when required. Ability to do the work and documented performance, inclusive of disciplinary record, may be considered when awarding a position. The Employer will notify all applicants of the result of their bid in a timely manner not to exceed two (2) weeks from the date the position is awarded. Section 4. A successful bidder shall be required to serve a sixty (60) calendar day trial period exclusive of any classroom training required. At the midpoint of the trial period the employee shall be evaluated and given written notification if a problem exists. During the trial period, the employee will be returned to his/her original position if the employee elects to be returned or the Employer finds the employee is unsatisfactory in the new position.

  • Bidding a. The Auctioneer reserves the right to regulate the bidding and shall have the sole right to refuse any bid or bids without giving any reason for such refusal. b. In the event that the auction comprises of more than one (1) property, the Auctioneer shall have the right to :- (i) Determine the order of sale; (ii) Offer the properties for sale either individually or collectively or in any combination or manner as determined by the Auctioneer; and/or (iii) Withdraw any of the properties from sale. c. The Auctioneer reserves the right to fix the amount of bid at the time the Property is put up for sale. Bidders may submit their bid at any of these stages of biddings. When system displays “No More Bids”, no further bids will be accepted by the Auctioneer. f. No bid shall be less than the last previous bid and each bid shall be increased by a minimum amount to be determined by the Auctioneer at the time the Property is put up for sale. g. The Auctioneer shall have the absolute right to withdraw the Property for sale at any time before the fall of the hammer and either after or without declaring the reserve price. h. In case of any dispute as to any bid, the Auctioneer may at his own option forthwith determine the dispute or put the Property up for sale again at the reserve price or at the last undisputed bid or withdraw the Property from the auction sale. The Auctioneer’s decision therein shall be final and conclusive. i. Subject to these Conditions of Sale and particularly to the reserve price, the highest bidder being so allowed or determined by the Auctioneer shall be the Purchaser upon the fall of hammer.

  • Shift Bidding The bidding process will apply to all officers assigned to patrol duties, detectives and dispatchers. Shift assignments are to be made biannually based upon seniority; however, changes in shift assignments may be made for the following reasons: a) Demonstrable and reasonable needs of the department as determined by the Chief of Police. If a change is made based upon the above, the least senior member or members of the division would be relocated to fill the open shift(s). In the event the department, at its sole discretion, shall either place an employee on a specific shift or limit the employee’s shift choices for remedial or temporary training purposes, that employee’s selection will be affected as will the ability of any other employee to bid for the position selected for that employee. The Department’s decision with respect to shift placement for remedial purposes shall not be subject to the grievance procedure for shift by seniority bidding during the employee’s placement on that remedial cycle. The Department may order such remedial placement in successive cycle rotations. All work shifts will be picked by the members in order of their seniority, beginning with the senior patrolman based upon continuous time in grade with the Hooksett Police Department. The members will have picked their new shift preference and submitted it to the Patrol Lieutenant, or Dispatch Supervisor at least 30 days prior to the new schedule. Members will submit two choices to the Patrol Lieutenant, or Dispatch Supervisor. Those not having submitted a choice 30 days prior to the start of the new schedule will lose their place in rank for that schedule and will be placed in the schedule at the preference of the department for that 12 week rotation. They will retain their seniority and be able to have their pick for the following rotations provided that they have met the 30- day time limit for the next schedule and are the senior member bidding for that rotation. Detective Division Rotation Exception: Duration of rotation shall be determined by mutual agreement between the Chief administrator and the Detective’s division. If rotation is under twelve (12) weeks, members will be allowed to work no more than three (3) rotations before having to switch to a different shift. Members shall be allowed to work two rotations on a shift before having to switch to a different shift. Except in emergency situations schedules cannot run longer than 3 months at a time so that all members may get an opportunity to work various shifts.

  • Training and Support Licensor shall offer installation support to the Licensee and each of the Members, including assisting with the implementation of any Licensor software. Licensor will provide appropriate training to Licensee and Member staff relating to the use of the Licensed Materials and any Licensor software. Licensor will offer reasonable levels of continuing support to assist Licensee and Members in use of the Licensed Materials, including providing help files and other appropriate user documentation in connection with the use of and access to Licensed Materials. Licensor will, at a minimum, make its personnel available by email, telephone or via the Web, or in person during Licensor’s regular business hours, Monday through Friday, for training and user access support.

  • Subcontracting 6.1 The Grantee is responsible for the performance of its obligations under this Agreement, including in relation to any tasks undertaken by subcontractors. 6.2 The Grantee agrees to make available to the Commonwealth the details of any of its subcontractors engaged to perform any tasks in relation to this Agreement upon request.
