Contractor Superintendent. At all times during the project, the Contractor shall be required to have a competent Superintendent on site. The Contractor shall designate the Superintendent at the pre-construction conference. Under no circumstances, shall the Contractor designate multiple Superintendents. The designated Superintendent shall have adequate social skills to interact with City Inspector and City Project Manager. Not having the designated Superintendent on-site during any work operations, including subcontractor’s work operations, may result in a Stop Work Order issued by the City Project Manager. The Contractor shall be responsible for any delays and monetary losses resulting from the Stop Work Order. Once the designated Superintendent has returned to the project site, a Resume Work Order may be issued by the City Project Manager.
Contractor Superintendent. The Contractor shall employ a Superintendent who shall be at the Site at all times during performance of Work at the Site. The Superintendent is the Contractor’s Representative for the Project; directions, instructions or other communications to and with the Contractor’s Superintendent constitute directions, instructions or communications to or with the Contractor.

The Superintendent shall also be a current and qualified employee, skilled in performing the scope of work, and have a minimum of three years’ experience supervising projects of similar scope. Not having the designated Superintendent on-site during any work operations, including subcontractor’s work operations, may result in a Stop Work Order issued by the City Project Manager. The Contractor shall be responsible for any delays and monetary losses resulting from the Stop Work Order. Once the designated Superintendent has returned to the project site, a Resume Work Order may be issued by the City Project Manager.

  • CONTRACTOR SUPERVISION Contractor shall provide competent supervision of personnel employed on the job Site, use of equipment, and quality of workmanship.

  • Level Two - Superintendent If the aggrieved person is not satisfied with the disposition of his/her grievance at Level One, or if no decision is reached within six (6) school days after the grievance was referred to the building principal or immediate supervisor, then within ten (10) school days a written grievance shall be referred to the Superintendent.   • Site Safety Supervisor 62.1 On every job site, where the Employer is the principal contractor it shall appoint a management representative responsible for safety (Site Safety Supervisor). The Employer will ensure the Site Safety Supervisor has the necessary authority to ensure that all safety laws, procedures or Codes of Practice are observed, and that the following Safety Agreement is applied. 62.2 The Employer when appointing the person appointed as the Site Safety Supervisor must ensure that person has and maintainsthe appropriate experience and knowledge of the safety requirements of the work being performed. Other duties may be assigned by the Employer to a Site Safety Supervisor, provided that such duties shall not prevent him/her from exercising their duties as a Site Safety Supervisor.
