Contractor’s Acceleration for failure to meet Schedule Requirements Sample Clauses

The "Contractor’s Acceleration for failure to meet Schedule Requirements" clause allows the project owner to require the contractor to speed up work if they are behind schedule. Typically, this means the contractor must increase resources, work overtime, or take other measures to catch up to the agreed timeline, often at their own expense unless the delay was excusable. The core function of this clause is to ensure timely project completion by providing a mechanism to address and remedy schedule slippage, thereby minimizing delays and associated risks for the owner.
