Sole Source Designation for Change Order Work Clause Samples

The Sole Source Designation for Change Order Work clause establishes that a specific contractor or supplier is exclusively authorized to perform additional work arising from change orders on a project. In practice, this means that if modifications or unforeseen tasks are required, the designated party will handle these changes without the need for competitive bidding or seeking alternative providers. This clause streamlines the process for implementing changes, ensuring continuity and efficiency while minimizing delays that could result from sourcing new vendors.
