Common use of Contractor’s Representative Clause in Contracts

Contractor’s Representative. (i) The CONTRACTOR’s representative shall have all the powers requisite for the performance of the works. (ii) He shall liaise with ONGC’s representative for the proper co-ordination and timely completion of the works and on any matter pertaining to the works. (iii) He will extend full co-operation to ONGC’s representative/inspector in the manner required by them for supervision/inspection/observation of equipment, material, procedures, performance, reports and records pertaining to works. (iv) To have complete charge of CONTRACTOR’s personnel engaged in the performance of the work and to ensure compliance of rules and regulations and safety practice.
