Contracts with State for Employee Services. A department may, when it determines it is in the best interests of the County, enter into a contract with the State to outstation a department employee for a temporary period to perform services and tasks for the State pursuant to contract. Such temporary reassignment shall be with the concurrence of the employee and in no case exceed one year, except by mutual agreement between the County and Local 1. The State shall, pursuant to contract, reimburse the County for all salary and benefits received by the employee, as prescribed by the Memorandum of Understanding, during the temporary period of reassignment.
