CONVERSIONS MARC. will continue to reinsure policies resulting from the contractual conversion of any policy reinsured under this Agreement, in an amount not to exceed the original amount reinsured hereunder. If the plan to which the original policy is converting is reinsured by MARC, either under this Agreement or under a different Agreement, reinsurance premium rates for the resulting converted policy will be those contained in the Agreement that covers the plan to which the original policy is converting. However, if the new plan is not reinsured by MARC, reinsurance premiums for a policy resulting from a contractual conversion will be agreed upon between the parties. Reinsurance premiums and any allowances for conversions will be on a point-in-scale basis from the original issue age of the policy. If the conversion results in an increase in the risk amount, the increase will be underwritten by the Ceding Company in accordance with its customary standards and procedures. MARC will accept such increases, subject to the new business provisions of this Agreement. Reinsurance premiums and any allowances for increased risk amounts will be first-year premiums at the agreed-upon premium rate.
