Common use of Cooperative Relationship Clause in Contracts

Cooperative Relationship. In an effort to have harmonious and cooperative relationships with its employees and the Union and to insure the orderly and uninterrupted efficient operations of government, the Employer now desires to enter into an agreement with the Union reached through collective bargaining which will have for its purposes, among others, the following: 1) To recognize the legitimate interests of the employees of the Employer to participate through collective bargaining in the determination of all matters pertaining to wages, hours, or the terms and conditions of their employment; 2) To promote fair and reasonable working conditions; 3) To promote individual efficiency and service to the citizens of the City of Ravenna, Ohio; 4) To avoid interruption or interference with the efficient operation of the Employer’s business; and, 5) To provide a basis for the adjustment of matters of mutual interest between the parties.
