Cooperative Relationship. Form a cooperative relationship between the Department and the Service Provider that establishes a mutual understanding of the requirements, and roles and responsibilities of the Parties. This relationship will strive to draw on the strengths of each Party in an effort to achieve quality Services done right the first time, within budget and on schedule. The cooperative relationship will help prevent disagreements and differences from developing into formidable conflicts and disputes. The cooperative relationship and the other provisions of this Contract will not, however, create any partnership, joint venture or joint ownership between the Parties. Therefore, the Parties agree to the following principles: 1. Promoting the timely transition of Services 2. Ensuring the Services comply with all applicable laws and regulations 3. Making timely review and decisions 4. Effectively communicating and providing information promptly 5. Maintaining quality control and ensuring quality Services 6. Cooperating and being courteous, respectful, and honest with each other
