Cost of Work Estimate Sample Clauses

The Cost of Work Estimate clause defines the process and requirements for estimating the total costs associated with a specific project or scope of work. Typically, this clause outlines who is responsible for preparing the estimate, what components must be included (such as labor, materials, and overhead), and when the estimate must be submitted for approval. For example, a contractor may be required to provide a detailed breakdown of anticipated expenses before commencing work. The core function of this clause is to ensure transparency and accuracy in budgeting, helping both parties anticipate financial commitments and avoid disputes over unexpected costs.
