COVERS AND FRAMES. Item 52(a) - Furnish 18" x 24" roadway type frame and cover as per DWG No. J-3179 B. Item 52(b) - Furnish 24” x 36” roadway type frame and cover as per DWG No. J-3179 B. Item 52(c) - Furnish and install precast concrete cover for Types #1, 2, 3, 4 concrete boxes (DWG Nos. D-2451-A, E-2505, E-2506). Item 52(d) - Install or replace concrete box frame and cover furnished by the City. Item 52(e) - Furnish and install frame and cover for all roadway boxes (E2397). 4.85.1 The Contractor shall furnish and install a cover - or a frame and cover - as directed, for a manhole, pull box, or junction box. 4.85.2 The defective or damaged cover, or frame and cover, shall be removed. If the box is buried beneath the surface of the ground, the Contractor shall sufficiently excavate to completely uncover the part(s) that need to be replaced. 4.85.3 The cover, or frame and cover, shall be fitted and fastened securely to the box. 4.85.4 Replacement equipment shall have the same dimension and physical characteristics as cover and frame replaced. All exposed joints and openings shall be sealed with an approved, non-hardening compound. 4.85.5 The excavation shall be backfilled and the surface area shall be restored to its original condition and under no circumstance shall a box be left uncovered overnight. 4.85.6 Any replacement covers shall be secured with tamper-proof screws.

  • Contractor and Subcontractor Registration Requirements Prior to the award of the Contract or Task Order, Contractor and Contractor’s subcontractors and suppliers must register with the City’s web-based vendor registration and bid management system. The City may not award the Contract until registration of all subcontractors and suppliers is complete. In the event this requirement is not met within the time frame specified by the City, the City reserves the right to rescind the Contract award and to make the award to the next responsive and responsible proposer of bidder.

  • Subproviders and Suppliers List Pursuant to requirements of 43 Texas Administrative Code §9.350 et seq., the Engineer must provide the State a list (Exhibit H-5/DBE or Exhibit H-6/HUB) of all Subproviders and suppliers that submitted quotes or proposals for subcontracts. This list shall include subproviders and suppliers names, addresses, telephone numbers, and type of work desired.
