Common use of CREW SIZE Clause in Contracts

CREW SIZE. The need for, the designation of, and the determi- nation of the number of journeymen, foremen, or general foremen is solely the responsibility of the Employer. If a condition in a Local Agreement conflicts with this paragraph, the provisions of this Agreement shall prevail. Where a Journeyman in the bargaining unit is one of a regular established crew at a single location and is required to give instruction and assign work to jour- neymen and apprentices in construction work, he shall be entitled to a 10% premium. In construction, the terms and conditions of the local building trades agreement related to foremen will apply.
