Criteria for Performance Assessment. A A teacher’s performance shall be assessed based on the standards for the teaching profession and the criteria set forth in the evaluation instrument, Appendix A in this agreement. B No teacher shall be evaluated on his or her work performance except based on the observations of the teacher by the teacher’s assigned evaluator and the walkthroughs that are set forth in this agreement. C All monitoring or observation of the work performance of a teacher shall be conducted openly.
