Crossing Picket Line Sample Clauses

The Crossing Picket Line clause defines the rules and expectations regarding employees' conduct when encountering picket lines during labor disputes. Typically, this clause outlines whether employees are required to cross picket lines to perform their job duties or if they are permitted to refuse without facing disciplinary action. For example, it may specify that employees who feel threatened or unsafe are not obligated to cross, or it may clarify the employer's stance on absences related to picketing. The core function of this clause is to address potential conflicts between employees' rights and workplace obligations during strikes or labor actions, thereby providing clarity and reducing disputes over attendance and discipline in such situations.
