Curriculum Changes Clause Samples

The Curriculum Changes clause grants an educational institution the authority to modify, update, or discontinue courses, programs, or academic requirements as needed. In practice, this means that the school can alter class offerings, adjust degree requirements, or change course content in response to evolving academic standards, regulatory requirements, or resource availability. This clause ensures the institution can maintain relevant and high-quality educational offerings while managing unforeseen circumstances or improvements, thereby protecting its ability to adapt and serve students effectively.
Curriculum Changes. Each party agrees to inform the other regarding curriculum changes that may impact the terms of this Agreement.
Curriculum Changes. A. Bargaining unit members who are expected to implement new curricula, techniques, and/or strategies shall be given an opportunity to participate in training within a reasonable period of time prior to implementation. B. Materials and texts necessary for implementation shall be available to the bargaining unit members at least thirty (30) days prior to the implementation date. C. Adequate time, as defined by administration, shall be scheduled for bargaining unit members to prepare and plan for implementation. D. It is understood that such new curricular, techniques, and/or strategies shall not include those which a supervisor recommends to a bargaining unit member or group of bargaining unit members (grade-level, team, department, etc.) in order to bring about immediate instruction change. E. Any curricular changes that require new materials of instruction shall be purchased by the Board under the Superintendent’s discretion.
Curriculum Changes. Before course offerings are changed, a meeting will be held between the teachers of those courses and the administration, or the administration’s representative.
Curriculum Changes. Before a proposed change in the curriculum can be accepted, the department and/or grade level professional staff members affected will have the opportunity to meet as a group with the appropriate school administrators to give input and make recommendations about changes. Notice of the meeting and an agenda for the meeting will be available at least three (3) workdays prior to the meeting. A curriculum advisory committee shall be created composed of two teachers from each building and the curriculum personnel. The committee shall operate by consensus. The committee shall meet by the end of the school year to discuss which programs are effective and make recommendations to the Assistant Superintendent on which programs most appropriately meet the needs of the students. Additional meetings shall be held as needed.
Curriculum Changes. Both parties recognize the need for staff involvement and consultation when major curriculum changes are anticipated. Staff shall make, in consultation with the administration, advisory recommendations regarding additional curricular programs designed to improve learning in the classroom. Where there is a possibility of reduction, elimination or change of a curricular program, the staff shall make advisory recommendations to the administration regarding the instructional needs of students.
Curriculum Changes. Those teachers affected by curriculum changes shall have input into those changes such as voluntary: meetings, surveys, committees, teams, small groups, one-on-one contacts.
Curriculum Changes. All curricula and programs are reviewed and evaluated at the end of the school year and are subject to change. The administration of Creekside Christian Academy maintains the right to make these changes as it sees fit for the benefit of the students.  This contract is subject to the laws of the state of Georgia. Should any part of this contract be determined to be unenforceable, this will in no way affect the remaining terms, which shall remain in effect and shall be binding on all parties.

Curriculum Changes. Teachers who are expected to implement new curricula or techniques shall be given an opportunity to participate in training activities concerning the new curricula at least one grading period prior to the implementation.
Curriculum Changes. For any desired curriculum changes after the annual Course of Study has been submitted, the LA Coordinator must be notified and a new Course of Study must be received for review and approval no later than three weeks after the beginning of each semester.
