Common use of Curriculum Committees Clause in Contracts

Curriculum Committees. The administration will publish the need for district wide curriculum committees, including textbook committees, with the intention that teachers will actively participate in writing the curriculum. Volunteers will be solicited and names will be selected from the entire list of volunteers. Generally, all committees referred to in this provision shall meet during the regular school day. When such meetings are scheduled during the school day, teachers will be released without loss of pay. When such meetings are scheduled outside the school day, teachers will be paid a stipend in accordance with the rate provided in Section 6.10B.
