Common use of Customer as Controller Clause in Contracts

Customer as Controller. To the extent Customer Data constitutes Personal Information, the Parties agree that Customer determines the purpose and means of processing such Personal Information, and GPHY processes such information on behalf of Customer. Customer is responsible to provide the necessary information to the identified or identifiable natural person whose Personal Information are collected, processed or stored and shall obtain all required consents under applicable laws to allow GPHY and its affiliates, subcontractors, agents and third-party service providers to process such Personal Information in connection with the Service. Upon request, Customer will provide GPHY with copies of such consent.
