Customer Responsibility for Content Sample Clauses

The 'Customer Responsibility for Content' clause defines the customer's obligation to ensure that any content they provide, upload, or use within a service complies with applicable laws and does not infringe on third-party rights. This typically means the customer must verify that their materials are accurate, lawful, and do not contain prohibited or harmful content, such as copyrighted material without permission or offensive language. The core function of this clause is to allocate risk and liability for user-generated content to the customer, protecting the service provider from legal issues arising from the customer's actions.
