Data Base Management. Lessee shall be allowed direct input control via -------------------- password protected software of the routing, management, and authorization code data base on the switch under a mutually acceptable procedure for security and implementation. Any other user of the switch shall coordinate their input process in conjunction with the Lessor procedures. However, such input control and access does not allow Lessee to make changes to any data base or routing other than that associated with Lessee. EXHIBIT C Lessee's Responsibilities Lessee shall be responsible for the following: 1. ANI/Subscriber Maintenance of Class of Service, line/trunk restrictions, adds, changes and deletions. 2. Trunk configuration, turn-up testing/acceptance, disconnects, moves or changes will be done as scheduled with Lessor. 3. Trunk, switch and billing link maintenance will be tested, monitored and trouble reported, pro-actively and re-actively during 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Pacific Coast Time and by alarm during non-business hours. 4. Trunk ordering - as an agent when needed, Lessor personnel will respond as facility point of contact, and test , install on coordinator with carriers and Lessor's personnel. 5. Joint coordination of ASR's, however, Lessee will be order originator, designer and technical point of contact. Lessee will also establish its own CLLI with each carrier.
Data Base Management. Subject to the exclusive assignment provisions of subparagraph (a) above, any person, whether employed by the Employer or otherwise, may operate a Computer System for the purpose of managing data bases, whether for live to air operations or otherwise, including but not limited to: (A) Copying, cloning and/or transferring of any form of data, whether digital or analog. (B) Playout, downloading, recording, ordering, sequencing, processing and/or editing digital data. (C) Storing and/or archiving data to servers, whether digital or analog. (D) Entering material into, and downloading data from, library systems and uploading, managing, editing or modifying data contained in such systems. (E) Recalling any form of data, including audio, video and graphics. (F) Screening, browsing and/or accessing data for any purpose, including incidental functions such as accounting, verification of run time, and other record keeping, scheduling and financial functions. (G) Entering and/or transferring data to electronic output devices. (H) Removing, distributing and otherwise handling printed output from a Computer System.
Data Base Management. Manager shall be responsible for maintenance and management of a data base of Physicians Care's claims and enrollment information, which data base shall be the exclusive property of Physicians Care. Manager shall provide Physicians Care with access to such data base including reproduction on disks or electronic transmissions to Physicians Care of data as reasonably requested by Physicians Care.
Data Base Management i) Running the main billing process. This will involve setting the system to bill (make computations) all active accounts basing on data input by the Sub-Operator. ii) Administering the functionality of the billing system (Tuning the system parameters) to ensure that the billing system is functioning properly. iii) Administration of the billing system to ensure database integrity. iv) Ensuring daily backups of the database. This is to include safe custody of backup media and continuous update of the off-site server located at NWSC-Head-office. v) Generation of billing statistics. This is to include summaries by Branch and the overall position of Kampala Water. vi) Billing software trouble shooting and coordinating the software upgrades. vii) Training of CUSTIMA users and developing of users’ manuals. viii) Monitoring the overall quality of the billing database information. This is to include providing back-up support to the Branch Billing Officers. ix) On the other hand the Sub-Operator shall be responsible for the following: a. Creating accounts for new applicants b. Posting meter readings, customers’ payments, adjustments and transaction transfers c. Amendments to customers’ accounts and attributes d. Updating general information regarding metering e. Production and renewal of validation reports f. Printing and checking of invoices g. Re-billing
Data Base Management. 8.3.11.1 MUST HAVE A COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE RELATIONAL DATA BASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WITH A STRUCTURED QUERY LANGUAGE (SQL) IN A CLIENT SERVER ARCHITECTURE. BIDDER MUST DESCRIBE HOW WORK IS DIVIDED BETWEEN CLIENT AND SERVER. THE COUNTY CURRENTLY SUPPORTS OS/2 DATA MANAGER AND SQL SERVER AS PC DATA BASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS. The ForceField system WILL utilize SYBASE, a commercially available relational data base management system with a structured query language (SQL) in a client server architecture. To provide capacity for growth and best maximize the use of the file server (ImageBank), much of the preliminary screen interface, printing capabilities, image review and compression are localized at the work station (ImageStation) level. ImageStations are UNIX-based workstations which communicate with the ImageBank via both local and wide area networks. 8.3.11.2 DATA BASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM MUST BE CAPABLE OF SUPPORTING THE MULTIPLE SIMULTANEOUS UPDATES AND RETRIEVALS. Data base management system WILL be capable of supporting the multiple simultaneous updates and retrievals. 8.3.11.3 EACH SINGLE FOLDER MUST BE CAPABLE OF HOLDING UP TO 50 FIELDS, ONE OF WHICH SHOULD BE THE FREE TEXT AREA. Each single folder WILL be capable of holding up to 50 fields, one of which should be the free text area. 8.3.11.4 ALL DATES MUST INCLUDE THE CENTURY. All dates WILL include the century. 8.3.11.5 INITIAL SYSTEM MUST BE ABLE TO MANAGE 375,000 COMPRESSED IMAGES AND ASSOCIATED DATA RECORDS. The arbitrators are instructed and directed to assume case management initiative and control over the arbitration process (including scheduling of events, pre-hearing discovery and activities, and the conduct of the hearing), in order to complete the arbitration as expeditiously as is reasonably practical for obtaining a just resolution of the dispute.

  • Network Management 56.1 CLEC and CenturyLink will exchange appropriate information (e.g., network information, maintenance contact numbers, escalation procedures, and information required to comply with requirements of law enforcement and national security agencies) for network management purposes. In addition, the Parties will apply sound network management principles to alleviate or to prevent traffic congestion and to minimize fraud associated with third number billed calls, calling card calls, and other services related to this Agreement. 56.2 The Parties will employ characteristics and methods of operation that will not interfere with or impair the Parties’ networks, or the network of any third parties or Affiliated companies, connected with or involved directly in the network or facilities of CenturyLink. 56.3 CLEC shall not interfere with or impair service over any circuits, facilities or equipment of CenturyLink, its Affiliated companies, or its connecting and concurring carriers. 56.4 If CLEC causes any impairment or interference, CenturyLink shall promptly notify CLEC of the nature and location of the problem and that, unless promptly rectified, a temporary discontinuance of the use of any circuit, facility or equipment may be required. The Parties agree to work together to attempt to promptly resolve the impairment or interference. If CLEC is unable to promptly remedy, then CenturyLink may, at its option, temporarily discontinue the use of the affected circuit, facility or equipment until the impairment is remedied. 56.5 Any violation of Applicable Law or regulation regarding the invasion of privacy of any communications carried over CenturyLink’s facilities, or that creates hazards to the employees of CenturyLink or to the public, is also considered an impairment of service. 56.6 CenturyLink shall give advanced notice to CLEC of all non-scheduled maintenance or other planned network activities to be performed by CenturyLink on any Network Element, including any hardware, equipment, software, or system, providing service functionality of which CLEC has advised CenturyLink may potentially impact CLEC End Users. 56.7 The Parties shall provide notice of network changes and upgrades in accordance with 47 C.F.R. §§51.325 through 51.335. CenturyLink may discontinue any Interconnection arrangement, Telecommunications Service, or Network Element provided or required hereunder due to network changes or upgrades after providing CLEC notice as required by this Section. CenturyLink agrees to cooperate with CLEC and/or the appropriate regulatory body in any transition resulting from such discontinuation of service and to minimize the impact to customers which may result from such discontinuance of service.

  • Account Management 15.1 The Contractor is required to provide a dedicated Strategic Account Manager who will be the main point of contact for the Authority. The Strategic Account Manager will:  Attend quarterly, or as otherwise agreed, review meetings with the Authority, in person at the Authority’s premises or other locations as determined by the Authority  Attend regular catch-up meetings with the Authority, in person or by telephone/videoconference  Resolve any on-going operational issues which have not been resolved by the Contractor or Account Manager(s) and therefore require escalation  Ensure that the costs involved in delivering the Framework are as low as possible, whilst always meeting the required standards of service and quality. 15.2 The Contractor is also required to provide a dedicated Account Manager for every Framework Public Body using the Framework, if required by the Framework Public Body. The service to be provided will be agreed with each Framework Public Body and may include:  regular review meetings, which may be in person at the Framework Public Bodies’ premises, by video-conference, webinar or telephone  Regular catch-up meetings/telephone calls to discuss current and on-going issues  Work with the Framework Public Bodies Contract Manager to resolve any on-going operational issues  Work with the Framework Public Body ’s Contract Manager to pro-actively introduce initiatives to:  Create efficiencies in processes  Improve the environmental performance of the contract. 15.3 It is expected that end users will contact the Contractor in the first instance to resolve any operational issues. The Account Manager will act as a point of escalation to be contacted either by end users or by the Framework Public Body’s Contract Manager should there be issues that the Contractor needs to resolve. 15.4 Further details of the roles and responsibilities of the Contractor, Authority and Framework Public Bodies are provided in Schedule 4 – Management Arrangements
