Common use of Daylight Saving Clause in Contracts

Daylight Saving. Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in this Agreement, in any area where by reason of the legislation of a State summer time is prescribed as being in advance of the standard time of that state the length of any shift: 20.11.1 commencing before the time prescribed by the relevant legislation for the commencement of a summer time periods; and 20.11.2 commencing on or before the time prescribed by such legislation for the termination of a summer time period shall be deemed to be the number of hours represented by the difference between the time recorded by the clock at the beginning of the shift and time so recorded at the end thereof, the time of the click in each case to be set to the time fixed pursuant to the relevant State legislation. In this subclause the expression "standard time" and "summer time" shall be the same meaning as are prescribed by the relevant State legislation.

Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in this Agreement4.6.1 Where, in any area where by reason of the legislation of a State State, summer time is prescribed as being in advance of the standard time of that state the State in which the facility is located, the length of any shift: 20.11.1 (a) commencing before the time prescribed by the relevant legislation for the commencement of a summer time periodsperiod; and 20.11.2 (b) commencing on on, or before before, the time prescribed by such legislation for the termination of a summer time period period; shall be deemed to be the number of hours represented by the difference between the time recorded by the clock at the beginning of the shift and the time so recorded at the end thereof, with the time of the click clock in each case to be set to the time fixed pursuant to the relevant State legislation. . 4.6.2 In this subclause subsection the expression "expressions standard time" time and "summer time" time shall be bear the same meaning as are prescribed by the relevant State legislation.

Regardless of anything contained elsewhere in this Agreement, in any area where by reason of the legislation of a State state summer time is prescribed as being in advance of the standard time of that state State the length of any shift: 20.11.1 commencing 20.1.1. Commencing before the time prescribed by the relevant legislation for the commencement of a summer time periodsperiod; and 20.11.2 commencing 20.1.2. Commencing on or before the time prescribed by such legislation for the termination of a summer time period period; shall be deemed to be the number of hours represented by the difference between the time recorded by the clock at the beginning of the shift and the time so recorded at the end thereofof the shift, the time of the click clock in each case to be set to the time fixed fixed pursuant to the relevant State legislation. 20.1.3.
